Last Thursday, our annual partnership with Bunnings continued with Lucy from Bunnings holding a garden workshop with all our students.
We discussed the time of the year and the planting that can occur, then students in their Better Buddies groups, prepared the beds and put in our winter crop. Mr C had the unenviable job of applying the smelly fertilizer and we finished off with mulching our plants. It was a great team effort!
A big thanks to Bunnings for their donations and for helping us get our garden up and running, we now have our winter crop of veggies in and we look forward to the harvest in Spring.
